Eat Local Now! is a collaboration to promote the importance of and strengthen the local food systems and economies in Cascadia.

Planning for the 6th Annual Eat Local Now! Dinner in West Seattle is in full swing. We are ramping up for some fun outreach activities and organizing the dinner. Please join us at our next meeting — Wednesday, June 24, 7-8:30pm at Uptown Espresso in West Seattle.

Excited about local food? Eat Local Now! volunteers will be hosting booths at local (largely West/South Seattle venues) throughout the summer in search of people and stories from people excited about local food. If you can’t make it to one of the great events - send us an email with why local food is important to you and what you are doing to engage the topic.

Eat Local Now! is an ongoing collaboration between associations such as BALLE Seattle, Sustainable Cascadia, Sustainable West Seattle, Sustainable Ballard, CoolMom, and other associations. Our goal is to promote the importance of the local food system in Cascadia and to form the connections needed to take action to strengthen our local food economy.
